This bloke claimed he was from O2 but honestly, I’m not convinced. When I got my sim about 10 years back, the first time I topped up O2 promised 10% cashback, but only if I made an account on the legit O2 website, which I did, and I also opted out of all their marketing and surveys. What got me laughing was when I started shouting a few choice words at this so-called "Robert" on the phone, he just abruptly cut me off!

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, saying I could get 40% off my bill if I gave them a code they sent in a text. Obviously, they wanted that code so they could get into my account. The message even warned me not to share the code with anyone, not even O2 employees. Had a bit of a laugh trying to make the woman on the phone understand why I wouldn’t give it to her. Definitely reported it to O2.

This lady was speaking so quickly and with such a strong Indian accent I had to ask her a few times where exactly she was calling from. I wasn’t trying to be rude or anything, just really couldn’t tell if it was legit or some sort of scam. She seemed to mention something like "pc world" so I just repeated it back to her, and then she abruptly ended the call. Definitely felt dodgy to me.

Some bloke rang me, said he was from Curry’s, asking what sort of mobile I owned. I asked him where he got my info from since I’ve never bought anything from them.
