Honestly, this was a total con. I stayed on the line and fed them bogus info like fake sort codes, made-up account numbers and imaginary balances. They definitely seem local, maybe somewhere around London or close by - so it’s not one of those usual overseas scam call centres. Don’t fall for it, they’re definitely not NatWest. Funny thing is, they seemed really curious about this foot massager gadget I had just got, proper weird! *weird vibes*.

So this number supposedly belongs to Riverdale Insurance. I mentioned I’d never come across them before and asked why they were ringing me. The lady stuttered, saying “uh, we’re calling you because…” and then the call just dropped.

I saw a call from 01163000105 but didn’t pick up since the number looked unfamiliar and a bit sketchy.

I just ignored their ring... no point really since this secondary number is only linked to my mobile carrier and serves as a spare. So if it’s not someone I know, it’s obviously junk. Over the last couple weeks, I’ve got three calls from Leicester and I’m just blocking every one of them.
