Got a phone call from someone saying they’re from BT broadband but sounded off. When I asked for their name and the company they were with, they just dropped the call. Definitely seems like one of those dodgy call centres from India.

This number rang me earlier today, but they hung up once my voicemail picked up. I did get a call from someone saying they were with BT about slow internet though. I told them everything's fine on my end, and I'm actually a BT customer already.

I’ve had this same situation happen 3 times over the last few days. Every time it’s a different number, so I block it and then another one calls straight after. Today it was yet another number. They all say they’re from BT Openreach with some really thick accents, reading the same script about my internet being slow and wanting my security info. Can’t believe it! Typical scam trying to catch you out.

They've rang me 3 times this week already, each time from a different number. After every call, I just blocked the number straight away. Today they tried again, claiming to be from BT Openreach, reading the exact same lines in really thick accents. They kept going on about my internet being slow and asked for my security info. Haha, as if!

Looks like this number is listed as BT, but honestly, I don’t think that’s right! Seems like it’s something else entirely.
