On one occasion, I did manage to answer, and it was someone claiming to be from Scottish Power, trying to offer me a deal to lower my energy bills. I told them I wasn’t interested since I still live with my folks, and they assured me they’d remove me from their calling list. But guess what? They called me four more times the very next day, again during work hours! Frustrated, I rang back and was told, for sure this time, they’d take me off the list, along with some weak excuse about why it hadn’t happened sooner.
