Somebody rang me saying they were from a health stuff company I once purchased from. They said there's a deal - buy three, get one free - but only if you buy over the phone. What freaked me out was that the caller seemed to know quite a lot of correct details about my previous purchase. I quickly told them to jog on and then went straight to the official website to change my password just in case.

I just ignored the call. Could’ve been some overseas royal asking for aid to transfer their fortune. Or maybe someone informing me I’ve won a massive Bitcoin prize in some crypto draw! Could even be my lucky day with a EuroMillions jackpot. Or who knows, it might be news about an unclaimed gold stash locked away in a Swiss vault. Perhaps there’s been a crash and I need to sort out some compensation. The possibilities are endless, really!

I get calls from this number quite a few times each day, randomly. I usually don’t pick up, but sometimes they leave a “voicemail” that’s just music playing for over four minutes, no talking at all. It’s really irritating.
