Got a call on my landline from 01159 163418. Some voice said it was from my bank but never said which one, said there were 2 odd transactions on my account but didn’t give any details. Then an automated message told me to press 1 or 2 to respond. Sounds dodgy to me. I just hung up straight away.

Got a recorded message from 01159161881 saying they were from 'Bank Security'. They asked me to confirm two transactions on my account - one supposedly from Amazon and the other an overseas transfer. Pretty sure it’s a scam tricking people to give out their banking info.

Got a call from 01159### with a strange lady speaking in an Asian accent telling me I had a hospital appointment, but she never said which hospital. My cousin got two calls from this number, one of them at like 5.30 in the morning. One caller claimed they had permission to tow her car, but she doesn’t even have one. The other call warned she’d have her power disconnected within 24 hours. Sounds like scams to me?

Today I got a call from some persistent stranger who just kept ringing till I gave up answering. The number was unfamiliar to me, so I ignored it completely. Eventually, they gave up and hung up. I never pick up unless I know exactly who’s calling, because there’s so many scams going round now. If they really need to talk, they can just leave a message, simple as that... Cam.

Hi there, Today I got a ring from the number 01159###. At first, it was some robo call, then I got connected to a supposed advisor who asked for my name and postcode. I only gave my first name and postcode, then it dawned on me that this was a scam. They threatened that all my belongings, including my passport, would be seized and that I’d be arrested. It was quite terrifying and I was caught completely off guard. The caller had an Indian accent and said something about ext ###; I reckon it’s probably from India rather than Nottingham. After the call, I phoned them back to warn them not to bother me again, and also got in touch with HMRC to report it. Got a call from this number on my unlisted phone at home. The caller tried to trick me with some clever chat, pretending they were from a boiler scheme supposedly happening nearby. When I started asking how they got my number, they just disconnected straight away before I could get any answers.

Been gettin a bunch of these calls lately. Every time I answered, I could hear noise in the background, like a crowd or sometin, plus a guy kept askin, "Hello, are you there?" I swore at him and hung up. But when I picked the phone back up to check the dial tone, I was still hearin the voice on the line. Had to actually unplug the phone from the wall to finally cut them off. Bloody annoying!

Over the last couple of months, I’ve noticed calls charged to this number (01159 ###) listed as Long Eaton on my bill. There were about five calls in March and April alone, and it looks like a similar number appeared on the bill before that too.

This morning alone, I've had to hang up on this number 01159### like four times. It's just a recorded voice and definitely one of those annoying scam calls.

Got a ring from these lot, just like someone said earlier, claiming to be from HMRC. Total scam, they were threatening me with legal action. Karma’s a real thing though, hope they get what’s coming to them. You reap what you sow in life and this muppet clearly hasn’t learnt that yet.
