I put my car up on Gumtree and got a call about accident claims. Told the woman right away she was just running a scam, and she should find a real job instead of working for those scammers. She started yelling at me over the phone as I tried to end the call. No sympathy for these cheats at all!

I got a call from some accident claims place, and they kept grilling me with questions. When they asked how my accident took place, I joked that my car got smashed by an elephant - said it damaged the trunk! The lady on the other end suddenly turned really rude and said I was wasting her time. I reminded her that she was the one who rang me up and maybe *I* should charge her for the call. I put up an ad on Gumtree and mentioned a car accident in the details about what I was selling. Pretty soon after, I got a call from a guy named Daniel who spoke with an African accent. He was asking about my accident, which was weird because I’ve never had one.
