I had to press Ctrl+H and clear my browsing history to make it disappear. The message told me to call a toll-free number, but I was pretty iffy about it and gave it a miss. It claimed to be from Microsoft and Windows Defender, but after checking here, it showed as Wavecrest. I even searched for Wavecrest in Nottingham and got no hits. Doesn’t feel right at all.
