This time, I played along with their spiel, and next thing, he passed me onto a supervisor to handle some claim. They started asking if I'd had any minor injuries I might not have noticed. That’s when I admitted I’d been fibbing, which made the guy proper angry. We ended up shouting over each other, and when I told him they’re just scammers making people's lives miserable, he hung up on me. When asked for the accident date, I joked that the crash was so bad I’d lost all memory of it. Not amused at all, and then he just hung up on me abruptly.
