The bloke promised me a £500 voucher but wasn’t trying to sell me anything. When I asked him to send the voucher over, he said someone else, a rep, would pop round to give it to me. Now that number’s blocked on my phone, just another dodgy call.

This guy rang me up going on about some sort of coating for the outside of my place.
I told him straight off it’s actually a caravan and is protected under some kind of “heritage” preservation order.
Didn’t seem to bother him one bit, even when I mentioned the “Telephone Preference Service”.
So I just gave him a proper earful, shouting loud enough, and he quickly hung up.
I guess I coulda just blocked him, but at least I wasted some of his time.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from an energy saving firm, and I responded pretty curtly!

Got a call just as I got home, some bloke trying to sell this waterproof stuff for the outside walls. Didn’t quite catch the company’s name, was a bit rushed. He kept going on about a “free quote” that’s good for a year or something. Honestly, I wasn’t really sure if we even need that kind of coating at all, so I just said no.
