Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, picked up and they just hung up straight away. Blocked it now so they can’t bother me again.

Yet another pesky cold caller from the area trying to peddle uPVC windows and the like. I made it quite clear that I had no interest whatsoever, yet they persistently ring me. At this stage, I’ve just taken to letting all incoming calls divert to my voicemail. My regular contacts are well aware to leave a message, and I'll get back to them. It's quite amusing really-cold callers seldom bother to leave any sort of message, likely because they prefer that face-to-face sales pitch. If only my DECT phone could handle more than 15 blocked numbers, I’d certainly add this one to the list as well!

I’ve had a run-in with this number before, and they weren’t very pleasant when I mentioned I wasn’t keen on what they were offering. Quite outrageous, really!

The business associated with this number appears to be Amber Windows and Doors. Although the caller was rather evasive about the purpose of the call, it was clear that it was a sales pitch. When I pressed for clarification, he feigned ignorance but quickly moved on to ask if I had any interest in UPVC windows or doors. Quite the cheeky approach, really!
