Had yet another local caller ringing about uPVC windows and the like. Told 'em I wasn’t interested at all, but the calls carry on. I’m at the stage now where I just let everything go straight to voicemail. Friends and regular contacts leave a message, so I listen and call back, but these cold callers don’t bother leaving anything. I think they want to chat live, hassle you into buying or something. If only my DECT phone could block more than 15 numbers, this one would be on the list too.

I got a call from this number before, and when I said I wasn't keen, they started being really rude to me.

When I pressed for clarification, he feigned ignorance but quickly moved on to ask if I had any interest in UPVC windows or doors. Quite the cheeky approach, really!
