I got a call from a lady saying she was with First Utility, asking about my gas and electric bills. I told her straight away I'd just switched providers the day before, but she kept going. After saying no thanks a couple more times, she still wouldn't stop. I finally had to tell her I was hanging up and just ended the call. I've since blocked the number. Seriously, how do they even get hold of your phone number?

For the past few days, this number keeps ringing my mum non-stop. She’s quite old and suffers from dementia. Luckily, her carers have been answering and letting us know, or who knows what they might have tricked her into saying. It’s clear they’ve spotted she’s an easy target and are trying to take advantage. Honestly, it’s infuriating. I wish I could call them up and tell them exactly what I think, but there’s no way to get through to them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone and they asked for my pin number. After that, I got a weird automated call asking me to rate their service. I know Vodafone usually sends a text for feedback, so somethings off. Didn’t give them my pin but went ahead and changed it just in case. Be careful, there’s loads of scammers out there!

when i tried calling back this number, it wouldnt go through, looks like its a fake one. seems like they using it for spamming or trying to gather info, cos ive been getting calls from probably the same lot that i have to block everyday. its really annoying and sucks that nothing's being done to stop these businesses who keep pestering folks.

Someone rang saying they were with CCR (?) and claimed it wasn’t a cold caller since apparently we’d ‘opted in’ to calls from the Money Saving Expert website. We told them that we’ve never agreed to any calls from third parties, and then they just hung up on us. We’ve already blocked a few similar numbers with the last two digits different, but it’s really bad they’re pretending to be linked to Martin Lewis’s site to get to people.
