Got a call from solution insurance services ltd about my home insurance. I figured I'd just play along and see what they had to say. Surprisingly, they managed to sort me out with a way better deal on my policy and all the papers they sent look legit. I reckon folks shouldn't always jump to the worst conclusion about these calls, everyone’s just trying to make a living after all.

Got a call today from some firm saying I’d rung them last year about my home insurance. I told them I hadn’t, and this woman, who was really rude and talkin’ down to me, just said maybe I forgot? When I asked where they got my info again, she said I must’ve given it to them - maybe I forgot that too. I told her I’m 57, not daft, got a proper job, and definitely have all my wits about me - then they just hung up. Now I’m trying to find the company directors on the Companies House registry and plan to give ‘em a few nuisance calls back.

This number has ringed me four times this week already. I finally picked up and a woman said I’d requested a callback about my home and contents insurance. I told her I was with my bank but she wouldn’t listen. When I mentioned I’d report them to my phone provider and the police, she just hung up on me. I tried calling back to complain about how rude she was, but all I got was a message to enter your mailbox number. I received a rather persistent call about insurance the other day. The bloke was extremely pushy and acted as though he was already familiar with me. Oddly enough, this was our first conversation! He was keen to get a start date, as well as my account number and sort code for a direct debit, all before I'd even made any decisions. Quite cheeky, if you ask me!

I received a call from this number earlier, and it turned out to be a follow-up of sorts. I've definitely not had any previous interactions with them. They were relentless in trying to persuade me to set up an insurance policy. They rattled off some prominent names of underwriters, but I could tell the pitch was quite aggressive. The caller was very chatty and upbeat, but it felt like a classic hard sell. They mentioned sending over a legal document which I could peruse and then cancel within a fortnight, but before I committed, they insisted on taking down my bank details and a start date for payments. I decided enough was enough and hung up. Quite the experience, really!

they rang my mum, who’s a pensioner, saying they could reduce her money on home insurance. the woman was really pushy and wouldn’t stop, but mum's far too polite to just say no and hang up. they kept insisting on her bank details to check who she was. luckily I was there at the time. when i took the call, the lady wouldn’t stop with her dodgy sales spiel, so in the end i just hung up. they’ve called a few times since then. my tip - don’t pick up, and if you do, don’t share any info. just tell them you’re reporting them. it’s clear they target vulnerable folks.

I picked up this call the other day because I was sick of all the landline spam. Told them I was on the TPS and that my number was blocked. They still said my name and claimed to be a financial services company. They even mentioned saving me money last year on home insurance, energy, and broadband, with the exact date too. I said I handle all that stuff online myself. I warned them that if they kept ringing, I’d report them to Ofcom and hung up. Proper rude and cheeky. Guess what? They called again about 30 mins ago, I ignored it and now I’m definitely reporting them to Ofcom.

didnt pick up since i have caller id and am on the do not call list. no voicemail either. from what i can see on here, sounds like a scam call. really hope the authorities take more action against these annoying cold calls, especially when you’re disabled and feeling unwell, it’s really frustrating.
