Got a really unpleasant call from TalkTalk around 5.53pm about ending my contract early and moving to a different provider. What really baffles me is how these phone numbers with UK area codes can be coming from India. I’ve looked into it and the codes seem to come from all over the UK. It’s such a pain!

Got a call from someone with a thick Indian accent, their English was pretty rough, saying they were from VISA and needed my recent transactions and card info to verify my account. The way he stuck to the same lines showed he was definitely reading from a script and wouldn't answer any tricky questions properly. I told him I knew it was a scam and he just hung up on me straight away.

Sounds like a fake phone call using a robot bloke’s voice, so recording it wouldn’t do much good. They said they were from BT support and warned me my internet would get cut in a day because my IP got hacked or something. They wanted me to press numbers on my phone too.

For the past week, I've been receiving calls from this number daily, and every time I answer, it’s just silence on the other end. It's quite peculiar, especially since I've only just switched away from Talktalk; could it be them?

I've decided to lodge a complaint with Ofcom regarding this nuisance, as these silent calls clearly reflect poor practice on the part of the calling organisation.

Got a few calls from this number. Every time I try to say something, they just hang up straight away. When I dont pick up, it goes to voicemail, but I think whatever they say at the start makes them hang up. Ive just blocked the number now.

I received a call from someone supposedly representing Talk Talk, but they failed to provide satisfactory answers to my security queries. To make matters worse, my switch to Sky was abruptly halted without my consent just moments after I ended the conversation. Talk Talk claims to have no knowledge of the situation, yet they're not allowed to reach out to customers to prevent them from leaving. It makes me question whether this is a sneaky loophole they’ve found to get around the regulations.

Got a robocall sayin my account was gonna be shut down, told to press 1 to talk to someone. I knew straight away it was dodgy but pressed anyway. The person on the other end then started askin for my bank info. I played along but didn’t give anything away, then the call just cut off when I asked questions.

I got a call from a woman with a strange accent claiming she worked for guaranteed telecom. She was pushing me to sign up for some nuisance call blocking and kept saying she needed to "check" my card info for monthly phone charges. I was so caught up trying to make sense of what she was saying, then it hit me she was actually fishing for way too much personal info!

I've been getting calls from this number and others like it quite a bit on my phone and home line. The home phone rings mostly at about 6 or 7 pm. I'm not bothered though. If they dont stop, I might just have to cancel my contract with TT.
