When I informed him that they weren’t around, he responded with a jumbled mess of words before abruptly cutting off the call. If enough complaints are lodged against these companies, surely they ought to face a hefty fine that could potentially put them out of business. This call is from TalkTalk, which must surely have the most notorious customer service in existence! After dealing with painfully slow internet speeds and receiving absolutely no response from them, I finally decided to terminate my contract. Thankfully, I was within the 20-day cooling-off period. They have a real talent for deceit and pilfering your hard-earned cash. I spent an unbelievable 5.5 hours on their live chat just trying to sort out the cancellation and an erroneous charge, which, mind you, they did admit to, yet still proceeded to deduct the funds from my account.
