I rang them back and got an automated voice saying callcentreops tried to reach me today and would call again, but they won’t be getting through now since I've blocked them.

I just picked up the phone and the bloke asked for the homeowner by their name. When I said they weren’t in, he just babbled some nonsense and then hung up straight away. Honestly, it’s about time the government cracked down on these annoying, aggressive calls, just like they did so quickly with the new laws on using mobiles while driving and the hefty £200 fine, which I think is spot on. If enough people reported these companies, they should face fines big enough to shut them down for good. But sadly, nothing ever changes. When it matters to the government, they sort it out in no time, but for the rest of us, it’s just the usual rubbish.
