Got a call from some group called Pep Talk or something, a woman named Rachel was trying to sell me a home insurance renewal. She had my name, address and even knew when it was due, claiming she worked for places like Axa and Aviva. Tried to trick me into giving my bank details. When I said no, she started going on about sort codes, then a bloke jumped on the line. I hung up quick! She called back straight away, so I ended the call again and have blocked the number now - felt really dodgy!

I got a call from Talktalk customer support checking how my service was doing. I asked if they could add free calls and then they said they'd look into it and later on they did add them. I told the person I didn’t want to share any personal details, and they said that was fine and they’d only need to confirm if I was the account holder, which I did. I’m pretty sure this was a legit Talktalk number.

Got a call where the bloke asked for me by name, said he was from TalkTalk. Rang TalkTalk afterwards and they confirmed they’d made a call to me, even gave the exact time it happened - matches up with what I know. Looks legit to me.

This number has called me twice now. The first time, my husband picked up and they asked for me, saying they were calling from TalkTalk. I didn’t get to answer the second call. I got in touch with TalkTalk myself, and they told me someone did try to reach me and even gave me the exact time, which matched up with when I got the calls. Unless their site’s been hacked or something, I’m leaning towards it actually being a real TalkTalk call.

Got a call from TalkTalk customer support, they just wanted to check if I was ok with my current package and if I wanted to change anything. I told them to take off my TV boost. Had a look at my account online afterwards and the boost is no longer there. Everything looks good so far.

The funny thing is, I didn’t even miss the call - I actually told them to ring me back. I got a call from a bloke who simply asked if I was so-and-so, then he just ended the call right after. Bit odd, isn’t it? Later, when I looked up the number, turns out it was spam.

This woman ring me up and was saying stuff I couldn’t get at all. When I asked her where she was calling from she said something like "anyone speaks English....? ok bye" but she didn’t even sound like she spoke proper English herself. Honestly, if you can’t speak it, how am I supposed to? Anyway, please don’t call me again. Thanks a lot!

Over the span of four days, I got three calls. One lady was asking if I was satisfied with my current plan and how long it was left on it - made me nervous how they had that info! I got in touch with TalkTalk and they confirmed its a scam. I even sent them the emails I received. Feels daft for me to have fallen for it, but at least there’s no cash missing from my account and I told my bank straight away. Honestly, can’t believe I got caught out like that. they call me nonstop! i havent picked up but i blocked the number after checking online and found out it was a pst call. i keep getting blocked calls showing on my phone and they have called 8 times since 11 this morning! i rarely pick up unknown or hidden numbers because if its really urgent they’ll contact you another way. someone mentioned it might be talk talk, which kinda fits since i just upgraded my plan recently.

This morning, I got a call from this number with a guy pretending to be from TalkTalk. He was blabbering about some pro-rata bill I supposedly had to pay to adjust my monthly charges. When I asked him to send the details by email, he acted clueless like he didn’t get what I was on about. That’s when I realised he was dodgy and just played along for a bit. Then he said he’d ring me again and wished me a nice day. Ha, no chance. I double-checked my TalkTalk account and saw his whole story was rubbish. Be careful with this one.
