On Wednesday 6th Dec 2017, I got a call from someone asking for donations. I was in the middle of something, so I kinda cut the conversation short and thought maybe I should call back later. Now I’m glad I decided to check the number first.

Got a call from someone saying they were John Shepherd from a children’s charity. When I told them I wasn’t planning to give any money, they just dropped the call straight away.

I picked up the phone and the person on the other end just cut off straight away!

The guy talked really slow and wanted to speak with whoever owns the business. I just told him no thanks and ended the call. Thought it was some annoying spam at first, and seeing the number now, I'm pretty sure it was!

When I mentioned Garibaldi biscuits, he suddenly started barking like some mad German shepherd, couldn't believe it! He asked what kind of biscuits I fancied first though.

I'd just say to steer clear and not share any details with them. Best to keep your info to yourself and not get involved. It’s better to be safe than sorry with calls like that.
