I’ve had a right load of calls where there's nobody on the line when I pick up. Quite odd, really!

A woman identifying herself as Victoria rang me up to share information about energy grants. I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up.

I just can't summon the enthusiasm to respond whenever I answer the phone.

I decided to let the call go to voicemail since my caller ID flagged it as a possible scam.

I spotted a number in my missed calls that I didn't recall seeing before. Not wanting to take any chances, I decided to look it up here to see if it might have been someone I should know. However, it appears to be a dodgy number with quite a few negative reports lately. Looks like it’ll be joining my growing collection of blocked contacts!

Not a peep from the caller—I let it ring through to my voicemail, but they decided not to bother leaving a message. So, they've earned themselves a spot on my block list now.

I received a call from an Asian lady with a rather unclear accent, insisting she was conducting a government survey related to home insulation. She repeatedly rang me before I eventually picked up. Although she assured me that she wasn’t attempting to sell anything, I found it all a bit dodgy. I promptly told her I wasn’t interested, and I've not heard another peep from her since!

I received a call from a woman with a strong accent, who said she represented an energy efficiency firm. It was quite difficult to understand her as she spoke rather poorly. I had to cut her off and firmly let her know that I wasn't interested in what she had to say before hanging up.

Constantly receiving pestering calls claiming to offer home insulation services. It's clearly a con! I've since removed and blocked the number!

Thoughtful and sincere individuals would have simply said sorry and hung up! This is clearly a tactic often associated with scams!

Someone rang me, inquiring whether I’d been involved in an accident and wanted to confirm my name. I didn’t feel comfortable, so I ended the call. To my surprise, they kept trying to reach me, attempting to connect a staggering 19 times in just ten minutes!

I’m absolutely fed up with this persistent caller! I've repeatedly made it clear that I’m not interested, yet here they are, pestering me about some pension scheme every few days for the last few months. It’s infuriating! When I try to ring them back, all I get is that ridiculous recorded message. Honestly, it's like talking to a brick wall!

They inquired about my National Insurance Number, bank account details, and my address as well. They also wanted to know my marital status—whether I'm married, single, or divorced, and so on. Quite invasive, really!

Received a call from someone wanting to chat with a person who passed away more than six years ago. I found it a bit peculiar, so I decided to end the conversation.

My phone didn't even buzz or anything! When I tried to return the call, it told me the number wasn’t recognised. I often get calls from Nottingham numbers, which typically start with 0115 9 or 0115 8. This one seemed to fit into the first format of those numbers. Quite peculiar, really!
