Got a call at 9:27 on 26th Sept 2022 but I didn’t pick up since I don’t know anyone from Nottingham. I checked the number after and found out it’s a scam. Definitely going to block it now. These reverse phone lookup sites really come in handy!

+441157180971 - Got a call on my mobile at 10:59am yesterday, 23rd May 2022. Didn’t pick up since I didn’t recognise the number. Checked it out today on Who Called Me and found loads of reports saying it’s a funeral plan scam. Bit eerie really, given that my family’s just had a loss recently. Definitely a cheap shot and really insensitive. Lucky I didn’t answer.

Got a call from a bloke about a funeral plan, sounded quite polite and proper. I told him I wasn’t bothered, but he just kept going even after I’d ended the call. Quite annoying, really.

Got a weird call where the bloke asked if he could nick my dog and scoff my cheesy crackers from the cupboard. I told him I haven’t got a dog, and he just said "Get one then." So, I just hung up on him. Honestly, the best way to handle these muppets is to shout back down the phone. They don’t take hints easily. If you hold the line but don’t say anything, they can’t call anyone else while you’ve got them. Trust me, they’ll get fed up and won’t bother you again. Give it a go!

Not totally sure but this number has popped up twice over the last couple of days. The first time I picked up, I could hear someone talking, but it seemed like they weren’t actually talking to me, more like they’d pressed the phone by accident or something. The second time I just ignored it and they didn’t leave any voicemsg. After seeing what others wrote here, I’ve gone and blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with "One Life" warning me about rising funeral costs and suggesting they’re going up more soon. They wanted to know if I'd looked into pre-paid funeral plans. I said I wasn’t interested, but they kept pushing, even asking if I planned on a burial or cremation when the time comes. Really annoying and quite forceful. I told them if I ever did go that route, it would be with a well-known company I trust. Despite this, they carried on like I hadn’t said anything. Eventually, I just ended the call. Blocked their number straight away!

Today I got a second call, but this time it was a different bloke. He was saying he was offering funeral quotes and asked whether I'd prefer a burial or cremation. Apparently, he had a survey to fill out. I just ended the call straight away and blocked the number after that.

This is the second time in two days ive had a ring from this number. First time i couldnt pick up, but today i did. As soon as i said hello, i could hear some bloke chatting and chuckling with another person, sounded like a brummie accent. I didnt say anything and just listened. Then they went quiet like they spotted me was there, then they just cut off the call. Weird behaviour!

I entered this e-bike giveaway on Instagram and ever since, I’ve been flooded with calls and messages from folks wanting my private info, probably to clean out my bank account. The latest one was all about some funeral plan I was supposed to have bought already. Imagine that - they wanted me to pay 5 thousand pounds upfront for a funeral plan and then they just vanished into thin air. Can't believe people fall for this stuff!

These people have called me twice now claiming I signed up for ads with them. They mentioned a different local magazine we actually advertise with to try and sound legit but I knew something was fishy. I rang our usual magazine and they confirmed they had nothing to do with it. Then when I called them out on it, they just hung up on me! Hope no one else falls for this dodgy scam.

I got a call from this bloke with a proper Scouse accent, sounded like he'd been drinking. He was real cheeky and sarcastic, proper rude too. When I said I didn’t drive or own a car, he just went on like I didn’t know what a car was. Honestly, it was so frustrating chatting with him, made me well annoyed.
