Got a text from a mobile number saying it was NATWEST, warning me about some fraud on my account and asking me to call back.

This number got in touch with me claiming to be from some "Phone House Company". They wanted to know what phone I’m using, saying they might offer a better deal. I told them I wasn’t interested, and when they pressed me to explain why, I just repeated I wasn’t interested. They kept pushing for an answer, so I ended the call. Honestly, your best bet is to just hang up on them. They’ll never make a dime if no one bites. Also, if you’re into this sort of thing, search for "Jim Browning" - it’s pretty entertaining!

I received a rather unexpected call from an Indian gentleman on 0115 706 0023, claiming he was representing something called House Company-or at least that’s what I think he said, as his words flew by in quite the rush. When I requested him to repeat himself, it was all rather muddled, leaving me quite unsure of his intentions. He then hastened to inquire about my well-being, which felt rather intrusive, particularly given that I had no idea who he was. There was an air of unsettling familiarity in his tone too, which only added to my discomfort. Without hesitation, I blocked the number.

I received a call from O2 claiming I had a discount because of Covid. I mentioned I was only 16, which typically leaves me in the lurch since O2 usually won't engage with someone my age.
