Be wary, folks! This is a complete con artist. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of Chris, or whatever name he’s using. He insists on a payment upfront to hand over the supposed £1000. I even suggested other ways to get around the loan issue, but he flat-out refused to assist. Keep your bank details to yourself; it’s simply not worth the risk!

Received a dubious call regarding a loan. They were quite rude and disrespectful.

I received a call from someone who claimed to represent a loan company, attempting to coerce me into handing over £50, all without even so much as requesting my personal information. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

This number is supposedly from Carphone Warehouse, but I've never even glanced at anything they offer. I've stuck with the same provider for a solid 15 years now, so it’s definitely dodgy. I can't believe Carphone Warehouse would ring out of the blue without being asked. Sounds like a total con to me!

I received a call from this number, but I chose not to pick up. To be honest, I get these types of calls nearly every day. However, after scanning through the comments, I’ve recognised the number.

I keep receiving numerous calls via WhatsApp, and I'm utterly baffled. I haven't a clue who's trying to reach me, what their intentions are, or why they keep ringing, so I simply refuse to pick up. The calls all seem to originate from a Nottingham number, as is often the case, but the last four digits change each time. Quite the nuisance, to say the least!

It appears to be one of those automated calls. When you pick up and greet them with a simple "hello," there’s often silence on the other end; although I did catch a faint, one-word response before the line went dead.

I had a rather peculiar interaction with a chap of Asian descent the other day, who claimed to represent Carphone Warehouse. It's funny, though, as just the week prior, I had submitted an application for a Virgin Mobile phone contract. Quite the coincidence, don't you think?
