Someone rang me pretending to be from my uni, asking what I’m up to on a Sunday and where I am. Felt a bit odd.

This caller claimed to be from BT Openreach, but I could barely catch what he was saying. He mentioned something about issues with my internet connection being unstable. I told him if it was really BT Openreach, I'd expect a letter in the post because it was too hard to understand. I heard loads of background noise like a busy call centre. After reading the comments here, I’m actually quite relieved I ended the call!

Got a call supposedly from an insurance company about my washing machine. I asked them who made my washing machine, and the person on the phone guessed 'Bosch?'. When I told her it wasn’t, she just ended the call straight away.

Loads of times ive had that exact call aswell. My washer is on rent so any issues I just ring them and they send someone round to sort it. Also, ive got my number on the do not call list and it’s ex directory too.
