Got a call from 011441563563224 with a recorded lady speaking in an American accent, said my internet was hacked and they'd cut service in 24 hours unless I pressed 1 to fix it. I just ended the call straight away. Since 0114 is Sheffield's code here in the UK but I'm all the way in Australia, it’s pretty clear this was a scam, most likely using a fake number.

got a couple of calls in just a few hours saying they were from bt, saying my internet would be disconnected if i didnt press 1. of course I ignored it, sounded like a total scam to me.

Got this recorded call from someone who sounded like they were from America-ish, claiming to be from BT. They said my internet would get cut off if I didn’t press a certain button. I just ended the call but noticed the line stayed active for another minute after I hung up.

I got a call from BT with a woman speaking in an American accent, warning me my internet would be disconnected unless I pressed 3. Then she mentioned a quick survey if I stayed on the line. Seemed a bit fishy to me.

Got a phone call supposedly from BT too. When they asked me to choose between pressing 1 or 2, I just ended the call. Sounds like one of those scams to me!

total scam alert. got a voicemail saying something about bt cutting off my internet soon. it asked to press 1 for more details or 2 to disconnect. didn’t press anything, just ended the call. pretty sure if you press 1 they try to steal your bank info, and if you hit 2 or 4 probably they hook you up to a costly premium line. be careful!

I got a call from a bloke named ‘Sean’ who spoke with a strong foreign accent, claiming to be from Openreach about some issue with our internet. I just replied with ‘yeah, sure’ and ended the call straight away.
