Seems this number’s changed hands - now they're pretending to be from Citation, a firm I’ve actually worked with before. Pretty clear the people ringing are part of some scam or spam job linked to this number. I’ve blocked it straight away.

This person claimed to be from Sky broadband and said my computer had a virus. They asked me to let them access it to sort the problem out. They did know my name, but the address they gave was totally wrong.

They’ve been calling me nonstop the last couple weeks, sometimes up to 5 times daily. I finally picked up just to tell them to stop bothering me. It’s all about smart meters - I already have one and they tried to push a “better” offer but honestly it wasn’t any better than what I’ve got.

Got a call from someone saying they were Utilitas or something like that, trying to switch my electricity and gas meters to smart ones. They couldn’t even verify my address properly, only knew it was somewhere in London, so I just ended the call. Reading the comments here, it really seems like a dodgy scam to me.

these lot are proper irritating, honestly how many bloody times do they expect me to pick up before they get that i’m not interested in their rubbish scam calls. if anyone reads this, my advice is just block the number straight away. and if that still doesn’t stop them, just turn your phone volume right off and pretend you didn’t hear a thing.
