Got a call with a really strong Pakistani accent, telling me my phone line rental could be cheaper. Their English was pretty bad, so I doubt they're actually based in Sheffield, or even in the UK for that matter.

Whenever someone rings up asking for my bank info or card details, I know it’s a total scam. I’ve been getting loads of calls recently from Sheffield numbers, but they’re always slightly different, maybe just one number off. I just block them straight away. Honestly, they really need to do something about these annoying calls soon.

I've been getting nonstop calls from what seems like a spam robot, using numbers that only differ by a digit or two each time. I just ignore them because picking up would just let them know the number's active, which probably ends up getting sold to more telemarketers and spam callers. Total waste of time!

I got a call from 01144388181 and the lady told me I wouldn’t get any more unwanted calls. She actually knew my full name, address, and postcode which freaked me out a bit. Then she started asking for my credit card info and as soon as I said no, she hung up. The number shows as Sheffield, so it looked legit, but it’s definitely a scam. This happened around 2.45pm on 29/10/2018.
