I got two calls from this number yesterday morning, but luckily my BT call guardian caught them both. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

These people claim to be the telephone preference management service, but it’s a total con. They pretend to be the legitimate (and free) telephone preference service (TPS) yet want you to pay to stop calls. Today alone, I got three calls in under an hour from the same number, but with different voices - each reading the same script. If you’re bored, humour them for a bit and jot down everything they say, then use 1471 to check their number. After that, make sure you report them to the ICO on their website. Don’t part with any cash!
