This operation is nothing short of a fraudulent car-hone warehouse scheme. Their modus operandi involves coaxing individuals into sharing their banking details or making advance payments with false assurances of a return. Spoiler alert: they never deliver! If you happen to receive a call from them, don’t hesitate to block that number right away. I did a bit of digging while on the phone, discovered it was a dodgy scam, and thought it would be rather amusing to lead the chap on for a callback. He complied, but I simply let the phone ring out before promptly blocking him. Strangely enough, I received four additional calls almost immediately, all from various landline numbers scattered across the UK. It's truly baffling how law enforcement hasn’t clamped down on these activities. Whatever you do, refrain from divulging any personal information, banking details, or sending any funds their way!

When I mentioned I was busy at work and couldn’t chat at the moment, the person on the other end had the audacity to retort, “stop fibbing!” What a shocking response! I really struggled to comprehend the caller; his accent was incredibly thick and his command of the language was quite lacking. I believe he mentioned something about “Car Phone Warehouse”. He kept insisting he was legitimate and even advised me to “look it up on THE Google”. Given his poor grammar, it leads me to suspect he might not even be residing in the UK, and English certainly doesn’t seem to be his native tongue! Utterly maddening these phone pests! Half the time they can’t even get the call through, and when they do, the line’s so poor it sounds like it’s coming from a tin can. I intentionally dialled the number again on three separate occasions. Each time I got through, I could distinctly hear someone inhaling on the other end, before they eventually put me through to a recorded message stating I was in a queue.
