I got a robo call about “my accident” which is weird because I’ve never been in one. No clue what company this is or where they picked up my phone number from. I usually just block numbers from that area code without even picking up, but this time I actually answered. They never bother leaving a voicemail. I’ve blocked the number now but I’m not holding out much hope that it’ll stop them ringing again.

They keep ringing from various Sheffield numbers, changing just one digit each time. The latest one even left a voicemail telling me to call back if I want to be removed from their list. I’ve blocked about 3 or 4 of these now, but they’re relentless! You’d think they’d get the hint by now, but nope, still blowing up my phone with new numbers. It’s really annoying. Wish I knew who’s handing out our details to these people. Just had to block another one today.

This bloke phoned me and wouldn't let me get a word in edgeways. I've put him on my block list now. Seriously, how do these people even get hold of our phone numbers? In the end, I told him I was living in a cardboard box so I didn’t pay for gas or electricity. That seemed to do the trick and he went quiet.

I had a rather curious experience with a recent phone call - it was just classical tunes playing on the other end. Quite baffling, really! I'm convinced it's just some prankster trying to have a laugh. Definitely a number that deserves to be cut off for good, in my opinion!

For the past week or so, they've been ringing me around 3 or 4 times daily. I never pick up and there’s never any voicemail left. Sounds like a sketchy number to me, because surely if it was legit they’d have dropped a message at least once in all these calls (there’s been more than 20 now). Plus, I’m registered with the telephone preference service, so they’re completely ignoring that too.

Some bloke rang me, pretending to be from a utility company, saying I had key meters or whatever. I told him I pay by direct debit, obviously, so no thanks. Then he says it’s from UTILITA or something. I told him to just Google it. He sounded all clever and smug, trying to be a smart arse salesman. I started asking him questions back, making him squirm, and he didn’t seem to like that one bit. My advice? Just block them straight away, don’t waste your time. If you’ve got a key meter, don’t fall for their nonsense or get dragged into it, these muppets are definitely scammers.

Got a call from an energy company asking if I’m still using pre-pay gas and electric meters, which I’ve never had. When I said no, they asked about smart meters - I told them I’ve had smart meters for more than a year. Then they went on about how much money I could save by switching my supplier. I just told them I wasn’t interested. Definitely a sales spam call in my book.
