Got a call from this 01143 number, but luckily my TalkTalk security filter caught it straight away. I ended up blocking it since it seemed fishy. They tried ringing a couple more times but never got through. Definitely very suspicious.

They say they're Donaldson Bruce Associates, and they'll recover money lost to a fake company for a 35% cut. This supposed firm says they have info about your link to the scam, like your name, phone number, and even the scammer's name, but couldn’t explain where they got that from. Also, there's no record of them on Companies House.

Nobody picked up when I rang.

My work phone rang from 01143034537 but the call ended right as I picked up or maybe just a split second before. It only took a few rings before I got to it. That number doesn’t look familiar and if it’s really from Sheffield, it’s not somewhere I’d expect calls from. Feels like one of those usual calls pushing PPI claims or accident injury lawyers using an auto dialler.

this number has called me about 5 times lately. whenever i answer, the line goes dead. if i let it ring out, it hangs up before it even hits my voicemail. no clue who keeps ringing me like this with no warning.

This number has rung me about 5 times lately. The weird thing is, whenever I answer it just hangs up straight away. And if I don’t bother picking up, it stops ringing before it even reaches my voicemail. Strange behaviour really.
