I picked up because it showed as a local landline. The lady on the other end wanted me to say who I was, but I didn't give her any details. I mentioned that there was too much noise in the background for me to catch what she was saying. When I asked her who she was, I still couldn’t make out the company or her name. She said she'd ring back later. After that, I looked the number up online and went ahead and blocked it.

Got a call from this number, answered it but all I could hear was silence before it just hung up. Decided to call back and could hear people chatting like in a call centre. A bloke then said, "hello, you've reached the claims department in Warrington, what can I do for you?" Seems like some dodgy insurance or PPI claim scam pretending to be local. I've gone ahead and blocked it now.

Got called about 7 times over a couple of days on my mobile. Didn’t pick up since the number was unfamiliar. Tried ringing it back from my home phone just to see who it was, but got nowt. So, I just blocked it now.
