Got a missed call from this number earlier, and would you believe it, they actually left a voicemail! When I played it back, they were apologising for not catching me and said if I rang back, someone would be ready to help me with whatever I needed. Quite bold of them, really!

Loads of different numbers keep calling but it’s the same rubbish scam every time. The person behind it just keeps switching numbers to try and trick people. It’s all part of some marketing research con with these calls linked together. Stay clear!

When I picked up, I kept quiet at first. Then, they quickly mentioned they were from some place (mumbled, couldn’t catch it) and said they had questions for me. Right as they started with a question, I cut them off and asked to clarify who they were and their purpose. They just hung up right away. I didn’t hesitate to block the number after that.

Seems like this number is one of those freephone lines, maybe connected to a business for customer support where the company covers the call charges.
