Reports on phone number 01142901410
6 yearsI've received correspondence from a debt recovery agency in Sheffield, acting on behalf of BES Commercial Electricity Limited, regarding some electricity bill I apparently owe. The puzzling thing is, I've never held a commercial account with these folks and I'm completely in the dark about who they actually are. It has all the hallmarks of a scam, especially since they've somehow got hold of my name and address. I've tried reaching out via email for clarification, but they've chosen to ignore me, and getting to speak to someone on the phone is proving to be an impossible task. This all unfolded on 25th February 2020. Quite concerning, to say the least!SheffieldBES Commercial Electricity Limited7 yearsI recently got a letter demanding payment for outstanding fees from Bigblu Broadband, which used to be known as Europasat. The thing is, I've got complete records showing that I've settled all debts linked to my old Europasat account, not to mention proof that I cancelled it properly. I shot an email back to them with this information, but I've heard nothing back. Fast forward a week, and I find another letter, this time from CST Law, reiterating the same claims but with extra charges if I don’t pay up, plus a threat of potential legal action on the horizon. What’s the best course of action here? I’m baffled as to how they even came by my name and address!Bigblu BroadbandEuropasatCST Law7 yearsI got a call from this number which I didn't pick up, and when I tried to return the call, there wasn't even a tone - very strange. Shortly after, I received a letter from CST LAW from Sheffield, stating that my energy provider was supposedly owed £95. There was hardly any information in the letter, and bizarrely, my name wasn't even included in the address. The last time I checked my energy account, I was actually in credit. I'm really pleased I decided to look into this company before taking any further action.CST LAWSheffield7 yearsIt seems utterly ridiculous that they would issue a request for payment without specifying whose name it pertains to. I've received this demand for £106 for an energy supply I’ve never even heard of, addressed merely to "occupier." Frankly, if they expect me to cough up any cash by the 3rd of July, they’d better clarify exactly who the bill is intended for. It's certainly not on my account!7 yearsIt appears that a so-called law firm is attempting to collect a debt supposedly owed to Green Star Energy. Frankly, I’ve never even heard of this energy provider and have never engaged with them in any capacity. Nonetheless, I’ve received rather aggressive calls from this CST Law number, 0114 (Sheffield) 2901410, with threats of legal repercussions, court actions, and demands for a sum substantially larger than what they allege I owe. What’s more, they can’t seem to furnish any evidence regarding this supposed debt. Perhaps Trading Standards would like to take a closer look at these characters!Green Star EnergySheffieldStandards8 yearsAs a company, I recently got my hands on a rather dodgy utility bill that lacked proper information. Then, barely a week later, I received a letter from a legal firm called CST Law, using the phone number 01142901410, hailing from Sheffield. They were pestering me with a tempting deal for a reduced fee if I settled the amount right away. It's clearly a scam, so do keep your wits about you!CST LawSheffield9 yearsIt appears that this is actually a debt collection agency named Credit Line, masquerading as solicitors under the title of HLW Keebler Hawson.
