I got a call from this number yesterday, they claimed to be from KBS. I looked up all the companies with those initials but couldn't find any that matched this phone number.

I got a call from a bloke saying he was Jason Harris from HMRC, telling me I supposedly owe £6,000 and they’re gonna freeze everything I own. He threw out a bunch of reference numbers to make it sound proper. When I started asking more about it, the call just cut off. Then I tried ringing the number back, but it turns out it’s linked to some company called KBS, which apparently doesn’t do any debt collection or asset freezing at all. Seemed a bit dodgy to me!
