Got a call just now, looked like another typical scam trying to pretend it was an accident. I didn’t pick up because I keep getting these sorts of calls quite often. Blocked the number straight away.

I got a call today on my landline but they didn’t leave any message. When I looked it up here, saw that the same number had rung me on my mobile just yesterday but I’d already blocked it. They mentioned my recent 'no fault' accident claim straight away and tried to convince me I could claim for whiplash. I told them it was improbable since my car was stationary and empty when a van crashed into it. Then they asked, 'but were you inside the car?' I replied yes. They kept pressing me to change my mind, but I said I wasn’t about to make a bogus claim. They then said insurance firms cheat people regularly anyway. I told them the conversation was being recorded and then they just cut me off.
