I received two calls that I couldn't answer, and they didn't leave any voicemail.

First time this number rang, my phone flagged it as suspicious so I just blocked it. They tried twice more but only left messages, didn’t actually get through. So yeah, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it for good now.

The number showed up as possibly being a scam, so I didn’t hesitate and blocked it right away. They tried ringing me a couple more times, but the calls just went straight to voicemail. I’ve now blocked the number for good.

They've rang me about 8 times just this past hour with some market research. I phoned them back and left a message telling them to stop calling me.

When I got back home, I used 1471 to see who had called me and tried to look up the number on my laptop. It took me to some site (can’t remember the name), but then I spotted the cursor moving on its own across the screen without me doing anything. That freaked me out, so I closed the browser straight away and ran a full Norton scan. Thankfully, no threats were found, but I reckon that number might have triggered some sort of automatic download or someone attempting to hack my computer. I’m based in Leeds.

Havent got a clue who it was but it was a Leeds area code that’s phoned me before. When I answered today, all I got was a big sigh then nothing else. Pretty weird tbh.

So frustrating! They’re really pushy and quite rude, couldn’t even say my last name right. Every time I block one number, another pops up from the same caller. Can’t seem to get rid of them.

I asked them to remove me from their calling list but they kept saying, ‘No, I can’t do that. Just spare me a minute.’ This isn’t the first time they’ve called me and given me the same answer. It’s really frustrating.

These scammers are seriously persistent, mate. I’ve reported their number to phishing.gov.uk and also got in touch with Citizens Advice and the local cops. Every time I block one number, they ring from another one - all Leeds area codes though. I tell them off proper and sometimes they leave me alone for a few days, then start up again with a slightly different number. All their numbers get passed on to the authorities mentioned above. They can keep trying but it’s not gonna work on me!
