I got a call saying it was from O2’s deals team, offering me a 30% cut on my bill - sounded a bit dodgy to me, no telecom company usually does that! If it seems too good to be true, it probably is a scam! The number showed as Leeds but when I asked, the woman said she was at 260 Bath Road. When I asked where that was, she hung up. I reckon she clocked I was winding her up. BTW, O2 does have an office at 260 Bath Road, but that’s in Slough!

I just got a call from 0113 522 0193 in Leeds. The bloke on the other end had quite a pronounced Indian accent, claiming to be from Currys/PC World. I ended up hanging up on him. The usual scam nonsense, really!

These persistent calls just keep coming. I didn't pick up, and they didn't bother leaving a voicemail - is this some sort of scam? Gave blocking the number a go, but my phone insisted it wasn't a valid number. Quite baffling, really!

What a nuisance! This is clearly a dodgy operation masquerading as Carphone Warehouse. Whenever I inquired about my own name, they always seemed to struggle with the audio. I've had it up to here with these spammy calls!

Received a call from someone claiming to represent Vodafone. I promptly informed them that I have no ties with Vodafone whatsoever. Curious about how they had got hold of my number, I pressed them for an explanation. I insisted that they delete my number from their records and refrain from calling me in the future.
