I received a call from someone with a rather annoying Indian accent. They claimed to be representing a debt management firm and wanted to chat about some debt I supposedly owed. I decided to block the number for now. Engaging further with this scammer seemed utterly pointless.

The number 5220191 keeps showing up but I can’t block it straight from my call log coz it says the number’s not valid - clearly it’s bogus. If you go into the call settings you can block it though. It’s annoying that I get calls even though I’m on the TPS register. Loads of scammers, mainly from overseas, keep ringing me with their dodgy scams. I make sure to report every single one to the TPS. These scammers have no shame, trying to rob folks instead of earning an honest living. Proper awful people.

anyone knows who this was? got a call from this number but no idea who it might be.

Had a call from 05220191, but it says invalid so i couldn’t block it right from the call list. I had to dig into the call settings to actually block it. I'm on the TPS so shouldn't be getting calls like this at all. Yet, people from Asia keep phoning me with all sorts of scams. I’m reporting every single number to TPS, hoping it stops these horrible folks who think it's fine to try and steal from others instead of actually earning their keep. Proper disgusting behaviour.
