Received a call purporting to be from "Crown Limited" based in Leeds. However, my search brought up no such business, just one with a name that closely resembles it-a firm that deals with double glazing. When queried about their services, she mentioned "glass recycling," but then rambled on about conducting energy assessments in my locale. I couldn't quite see how that related to glass recycling! After a bit of back and forth, she claimed they were involved in double glazing installation and continued her chatter about government funding for energy upgrades. Even when I pointed out that she should not be contacting me and probably hadn’t consulted the TPS list (whatever that really does), she remained unfazed. At least she didn't turn hostile, which is a small mercy!

Every time I pick up, they disconnect straight away. It’s a classic sign of one of those automated dialling machines, which probably means it’s just another pesky spammer.

I received a telephone call from this number, but unfortunately, I didn’t catch it at the moment. It's unfamiliar to me, so I would have been hesitant to pick up even if I had heard it ring.
