Phone rang, I picked up but there was nothing, just silence, then it hung up after a few secs. I've gone and blocked the number now.

I asked who exactly I was speaking to, then when I wanted to know the reason for the call, they only replied with something about finance.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, left a message just saying "hello" in what sounded like an Asian accent. The number shows up as from Leeds, but I don’t know anyone from there at all. Tried calling back a couple of times but my phone stopped it from ringing. Seems dodgy to me, especially since like 28 others have already checked this number on here. Definitely feels like a scam if you ask me!

I got a weird call, answered it but took me a bit to reply. Sounded like one of those robotic outbound calls. They mentioned where they were calling from, but I didn’t quite hear it properly. When I asked them to say it again, the line just went dead. Pretty odd experience.

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming Blackhorse Finance owed me some cash, and he even had my address right. When I asked him about when I'd actually receive the money, he just cut me off and ended the call. Felt really dodgy.

Got a call saying I had £3500 PPI compensation coming. Felt fishy so I just ended the call and put the number on my block list straight away - the phone line sounded weird too.

Some bloke rang saying I had a PPI claim, but I’d already had it looked into before. I said I wanted details because I knew it was dodgy, then he just cut me off. Seems like a scam to me.
