Got a call from this number and the caller ID showed it as (Suspected Spam). They started talking about Virgin Media and gave some reference code, but I hung up before they finished. Lately, I keep getting automated calls from supposed debt collectors claiming to be from Virgin, telling me to ring a certain number. Right after each call, I also get a text. Couple of years back, I had an issue with Virgin Broadband, but they decided to cancel the charge cause it wasn’t my fault. Looks like these callers are working off some outdated list. Either Virgin has had a data breach or these folks somehow nicked my info from them.

Another annoying call from these clowns just landed on my phone. They left a number that links straight to IMFS yet again. I tried ringing Virgin Media to sort it out, spent ages getting passed around, mostly through their India office, and got nowhere. VM told me to use their online complaint system, but I can’t even do that without signing up for an account. Knowing who they are now, I’m not bothering. Caller showed up as Virgin Media. I didn’t bother picking up. Later got a voicemail with some reference number. Rang them back and a woman picked up, sounded like she was a proper English speaker. This number called my Ex-Directory and TPS listed phone on 22/8/22 at 16:11 and again today, 31/8/22 at 10:08. I’ve since found it’s linked to Leeds and appears to be a debt scam. They kept saying I owed Virgin Media money, even though they cut me off after 23 years, back when they were NTL. They're claiming I owe £366, but that’s not true. Citizens Advice and Trading Standards now have all my paperwork and details about these calls. I reckon this is just their debt collectors trying it again. I’ll be reporting this number shortly.
