Eventually, I put my foot down and told him to "keep his nose out of my affairs, it was none of his concern!" After that, I promptly hung up and decided to investigate the number, which is how I landed here! It’s utterly infuriating; I seem to get these calls left, right and centre. I’ve taken to ignoring most of them now, but I thought this one might have been from my credit card, especially given the recent fraud activity on my account. It’s turning into a complete shambles! It feels like our personal details are up for grabs these days.
