Got a call from a woman talking about irritants and fibreglass insulation, saying “we’re nearby and can do a free inspection”. Yeah, as if anything’s free nowadays! I said no thanks and ended the call. The number had a Leeds area code but I’m based in Wales, which didn’t add up at all. Feels like a dodgy scam, so watch out for this one.

This morning I got a call from this number, but my iPhone blocked it straight away since it was marked as unknown. I've gone ahead and blocked it completely now.

I got a call earlier today from a woman claiming she was part of a government scheme checking home insulation for any harmful materials. She said I qualified for a free check but sounded like she was just following a script. I kept asking her to pause so I could question her, especially how she got my number. She said it was in their database but when I asked her to take it off, she said nothing and just ended the call. Seeing other comments, it seems like they’re just fishing for info, so watch out for this sort of call.

On 26/06/2023 at 10:09, Helen rang me about getting loft insulation done. I said I wasn't interested but, to my surprise, she phoned back about 20 minutes later from another number, 01135191682. When I mentioned she'd already called earlier that day and made it clear I didn't want to hear any more about it, she just hung up without even saying sorry or anything! Proper rude imo.

This lady has been ringing me loads about some dodgy loft insulation. The other day she just kept blabbering on and I let her carry on, but when she noticed no one was responding she suddenly hung up. Then, like no shame, she rang my 90-year-old dad next door a few seconds later. She was telling him his loft insulation, which a proper builder fitted just 3 years back, is gonna give him lung cancer. Completely off!
