I had a funny feeling this was either a scam or just some call centre. After a few seconds of silence, I suddenly heard a sudden click followed by a very pushy woman’s voice who just started blabbing about fibreglass insulation without even letting me get a word in. She didn’t say anything about a government department, just claimed it was a survey being done locally. I cut the call quickly and later looked it up on who-called.co.uk to be on the safe side.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from some government agency about fibreglass insulation. I asked her to leave her contact number and straight away she just ended the call. Quite suspicious!

I'm kinda hoping this was an accident and not some dodgy call.

Got a call from a lady saying she was reaching out to local homeowners about fibreglass insulation for lofts. She mentioned she found our number on some database, but we’re ex-directory, so there’s no way she should have had it. Strange!
