Got a call from a Leeds number but didn’t pick up since it showed up as possible scam. I’m just gonna block it now like I always do. Hope they eventually get bored and stop ringing.

Another one of those energy survey calls - I just gently set the phone down on a nearby tissue box and walked off for a few minutes. When I got back, I blocked the number. Of course, they rang again a couple of days later from a different number so I did the same thing all over again. Honestly, it was quite satisfying hearing how worn out the person calling seemed this time.

In less than two hours yesterday, I got a bunch of silent calls, six to be exact, all coming from three phone numbers that looked really alike. They all started with 01134780 but the last three digits changed - 136, 159, and 203. The number traces back to TAP GATEWAY LTD, based out in Cornwall, and they're somehow connected with DIDcomms UK. Lots of others have flagged these calls as the same annoying scam about insulation, just like the ones linked to Twilio Ireland’s numbers like 01182300029 and 011182309389. Looks like the scammers might have just switched to using TAP now.
