I received a rather tenacious cold call from a woman who was trying to discuss loft insulation. She went on about the downsides of fibreglass insulation, claiming it could lead to moisture issues, among other concerns. She was quite eager to find out the specifics of my loft as well. However, I was rushed and didn’t have the bandwidth for such a chat, so I had to politely decline her offer and let her know I wasn’t keen.

Some woman calling me up sayin the stuff in my loft insulation is irritatin me and needs changin. No idea how she even knows that. Pretty clear to me it’s a scam.

Seemed like a call pushing loft insulation. The woman spoke at length about the supposed downsides of fibreglass insulation, saying it can lead to moisture and related issues. From what I know, fibreglass is fine as long as there’s enough airflow. She then asked if I knew what insulation we had in our loft, probably trying to make me doubt our existing fibreglass and promote their stuff. I told her I wasn’t sure, as we live in a flat. She said thanks and sorry to bother me. I'll definitely keep this number handy just in case.
