My question is, with all these annoying calls from numbers like 01134579771 and the like, why haven’t the regulators done anything to stop this? There’s lots of chat and ideas flying about, but nothing ever really changes. I reckon if the bosses at Vodafone or T Mobile got flooded with calls from this number, they’d sort it out pretty quick. Don’t you think?

I've received calls from an 01282 number, which appears to be linked to Slater & Gordon, just like this one. I’m thoroughly exasperated with the relentless calls from both sides, so I'm going to block them entirely!

This number keeps ringing me incessantly. It's nothing but a bothersome call trying to sell me offers. I've tried blocking it, but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

I had a look at this number and it claimed to be from Santa Cruz, Tenerife. However, after digging a bit deeper, I found out it's actually related to a timeshare operation in Los Cristianos, also in Tenerife. Quite the surprise, I must say!

I gave them a bell, and a woman replied with something like “I love my Office,” or possibly “Offers?” Then she asked who I wanted to chat with so she could connect me to the right individual. After that, I got a list of options, including one where it said to hit 2 if I wanted to be taken off their database. Upon selecting 2, I found myself speaking to Customer Service, though I'm pretty sure the call was routed from India.

I've been getting calls from this number every evening for the past week. Whenever I pick up, they simply hang up! This evening, I decided to answer, but all I heard was a woman saying, "Hello?" I chose to stay silent for a moment, then when I tried to respond, she hung up straight away. My phone indicates that the caller is based in Leeds. Strange, isn’t it?

Been getting loads of calls daily from 0113457 but the last numbers switch up everytime. I keep hitting ignore but they ring straight back almost before I even put my phone down, proper annoying cos no 1 talks! Think next time imma just tell em to jog on instead of saying hello then block like I always do.

Just a little advice from me, ive started using a BT advanced call blocker at home and its actually really good. If the number isnt in my contacts, they have to pass a call screening that asks them to say who they are before I pick up. If they manage that, I can choose to answer or just block them straight away. For my mobile ive set it so when I dont pick up it redirects to another phone number, and get this - ive set it to go to a scammers line so basically the scammer ends up trying to scam another scammer lol.

I'd received a fair few missed calls from this number, so I thought I’d finally pick up today. At first, it was just a recorded message, followed by a chap with a foreign accent who introduced himself as 'Alex'. To be frank, I couldn't make head nor tail of what he was droning on about or who he represented. The only thing he kept repeating was that he wasn't trying to sell me anything. He then queried my address - which was all wrong - and inquired about my age group - also incorrect. Naturally, I wasn’t having any of it, refused to share any personal details, hung up, and promptly blocked the number. What a bother!

I'm getting a barrage of calls from this number. It's happening far too often!

I’ve been inundated with calls from numbers starting with 0133 457 ****, at all sorts of hours - it’s utterly infuriating! I really wish something could be done to put an end to this nonsense. I answered one of these calls out of sheer curiosity, only to be greeted by a Spanish lady, who I couldn’t make heads or tails of. As far as I could gather, she wasn't trying to sell me anything, but she did have my name and address and was looking to verify them. Just baffling!

This number keeps ringing me nearly every day for weeks straight. Blocking it doesn't work since they call from loads of different numbers. PRO TIP: On most mobile phones, you can block entire prefixes, not just single numbers. I've blocked all numbers starting with 0113457, and since then, the calls have stopped coming through! They still try every day, which I can see from my phone’s spam filter, but at least they don’t get through. Hope this little trick helps some of you out!
