Had a dodgy run-in with Motor Legal after one of our cars was picked up by the RAC. I’m pretty sure they got my details off the RAC without permission, coz the RAC insisted they don’t hand out personal info. So either Motor Legal’s sneaking info behind their backs or the RAC’s got a data leak. Tried asking Motor Legal for basic info like their name, company registration, email, anything really, but they just stonewalled me and wouldn’t share a single detail. Proper shady behaviour if you ask me.

After my car crash, I got a call from this firm acting like they were from the leasing company handling my case. They went as far as naming a solicitor for me, but they weren’t the right ones at all. I even ended up signing a legal paper they emailed me, thinking it was legit. Honestly, I’m livid because the caller made it sound like he was part of the team I’d already been dealing with. I had to call back and ask to speak to a manager, but I’m still waiting for that call. Then I had to get in touch with the solicitor they assigned to make it clear that I was misinformed and didn’t want their services. Just a heads up, be careful with these people!
