i submitted the form from serps on facebook and then got a phone call. we talked about the choices for claiming ppi and stuff. they said if i want to go ahead, they’d send forms through the post. it sounded pretty legit to me. now i’m just waiting to get those forms before i decide what to think about the whole thing.

If you’re getting calls from them too, you should definitely report it online - the more complaints they get, the higher the chances they’ll be fined, which could be up to £2 million.

These arseholes with this number have called me quite a few times now. At first, they just hung up as soon as I picked up. I never bother returning calls from dodgy sods like them. Today someone finally answered and started asking for my partner, mentioning his first name and saying something about SERPS. I told the bloke to stop lying and get lost. We only moved in a few weeks ago and have a new number. Neither me nor my partner ever share our details, so hearing them use his name genuinely made me uneasy. I’d absolutely love to catch these nasty, scammy tossers and give them a piece of my mind.

Had a call this evening and naively ended up sharing my info along with my wife's full names and DOBs plus our bank account details. My wife is livid with me now. I've already got in touch with my bank’s fraud team, they’ll monitor the account and investigate the firm. Since they used a Leeds landline, hopefully they can be located to a specific place.
