A bloke rang up about pensions. I told him not to bother as I’m happy with my current setup, had already had a couple of similar calls in the past year, and was tied up anyway. He said it wouldn’t be a waste of his time. I then tried to be polite, saying there was no point carrying on the chat, and you could hear a bit of letdown in his voice before he hung up. The real issue is how my details seem to get passed around between different companies. Hopefully, the changes to the Data Protection Rules coming in May 2018 will help cut down on these annoying cold calls.

He even had the cheek to say, "Well, you picked up the phone, didn't you?" It's high time something was done about these persistent nuisances harassing us nonstop!

Greetings, it seems I received a call from Pension Assist and a chap named Steven was on the other end. He inquired if I was available to tackle some questions. I politely declined, and his response was rather uncouth-essentially telling me to “bugger off.” Quite delightful, isn’t it? I’ve now taken the liberty of blocking their number, as I suspect this is just another dodgy fishing scheme masquerading as a proper service.
