Motor Miles Finance, or MMF as they're called, operate out of Leeds and are a bunch of muppets who snap up old debts that other firms have given up chasing, even if the details are dodgy. Most of these debts are nearly old enough to be written off completely (over six years old). They're basically a third party debt collection company and have no right to send bailiffs, take you to Court, or turn up unannounced demanding cash. Doing so would break their licence unless you've specifically allowed it. Just last month, Wonga got into hot water for the same sort of licence breaches. My mum, who’s quite old, keeps getting calls from this firm and it’s really upset her. Now she’s scared to pick up the phone or even open her door. It’s really awful behaviour!

I've been getting constant calls from this firm I've never come across before, and they keep saying they'll show up at my house if I don't get back to them on this number. How is it even allowed for such pushy scammers to carry on like this? They prey on innocent folks, sometimes elderly and vulnerable, which could lead to serious health issues or worse due to the stress of dealing with nonsense that isn’t their problem at all. Shouldn't there be a way to shut these people down and put them behind bars?

We got a call about some debt we supposedly owe and were told they might come round to our place. When we rang the number they provided, they asked if we were a company. We said yes, and then they just hung up on us. Quite rude!
